This full day session will provide guidance to mental health and substance abuse agencies seeking CARF accreditation. The training will focus on the 2008 administrative standards [Section 1] of CARF. Calling on his 13 years experience as a Behavior Health Care CARF surveyor and, particularly, his work as a consultant to organizations preparing for accreditation, Joseph Paliwoda will identify problem areas where organizations commonly struggle and offer strategies for turning the survey process into a successful experience. While not each and every standard will be reviewed, the session will include specific tips and tactics for addressing all eight administrative component areas. Time permitting, some clinical standards may also be reviewed. |
