TITLE: Outreach Counselor for = Families=20 Together Building Solutions through DHS

=20 (Regular Part time, 24 hours per week for Osceola = County = offices)

=20 ***caseload for this position may be in both Mecosta and Osceola=20 counties***

=20 *This is an =93at = will=94 position due=20 to outside funding

GENERAL=20 SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Provide=20 case management/counseling services for children and families who have = an open=20 DHS case in Prevention or Protective Services or Foster Care = reunification or=20 Delinquency service. = Services=20 (minimum of 3 hours weekly face to face) will be provided both in the = home and=20 through solution focused treatment group. =20 FTBS must be available to families 24 hours 7 days a week. Work closely with DHS workers = and other=20 collaborative partners. = Ability to=20 engage with these families is paramount.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE=20 REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's=20 Degree in Social Work (preferred), = Psychology, or=20 similar mental health specialty. = LBSW required and previous mental health services experience=20 preferred. Understanding = of the=20 strength based solution focused brief treatment model (which will be = provided=20 through training contracted by DHS) as well as family centered practices = required. Experience in = and=20 knowledge of brief, solution-focused therapy is = preferred.

SALARY: Up to $43,659 depending = upon=20 experience.
