TITLE: Secretary (Mecosta=20 office)

GENERAL=20 SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Performs,=20 according to standard procedure, routine to moderately difficult = clerical work=20 requiring a limited degree of decision-making and in which typing is a = regular=20 and essential duty; answers the telephone and in other ways assists the = public;=20 performs related work as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE=20 REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education = equivalent to=20 completion of the 12th grade with sufficient experience to perform the = position=20 at a satisfactory level required.

2. Ability to type = from rough=20 draft at the rate of 50 words per minute and 6500 keystrokes per hour = for data=20 entry after errors.

3. Ability to maintain = and keep=20 clerical records, compile statistical data and prepare reports from such = records.

4. Ability to maintain = positive=20 interpersonal relationships.

5. Ability to operate = multi-line=20 phone.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE=20 PREFERRED:

1. =20 Word processing/computer=20 experience.

2. =20 Word 2000=20 experience.

SALARY: = Up to=20 $31,200 depending upon experience.
