Directions

to Training Sites

US-131 Northbound
Take Exit 84B, Business 131/Downtown. At the light, turn left on Oakes Street. It will dead-end into Market Avenue. Turn right on Market (which later becomes Monroe at Fulton). Continue through three lights to Pearl. Turn left...valet parking is available on the right and self-parking on the left.

US-131 Southbound
As you approach the downtown/detour area, the traffic will narrow to two lanes. Stay to the right. It then adds an exit only lane on the far right. Stay in the center lane and follow the signs that say "downtown" (the extreme left and right lanes will exit). At the bottom of the ramp turn left onto Pearl Street. Cross over the river and the hotel will be on your left (approx. one quarter of a mile from the highway). Valet parking is available on the left, self-parking available on the right.

From I-96 Westbound (from Lansing/Detroit)
Follow I-96 West to the Grand Rapids area. Take I-96 West (also called the Gerald R. Ford Freeway) to downtown Grand Rapids. Then take Exit 77C, Ottawa Avenue. Go three blocks to Pearl Street. Turn right. Go one block and a half. The hotel is on the corner of Pearl and Monroe.

From Chicago/Indiana via I-94 East
Take I-94 to I-96 East to Grand Rapids. Continue on I-96 (also called the Gerald R. Ford Freeway) into the downtown area and take Exit 77C, Ottawa Avenue. Go three blocks to Pearl Street. Turn right. Go one block and a half. The hotel is on the corner of Pearl and Monroe.

From Kent County International Airport
As you leave the airport, take a right at the first traffic light, Patterson Avenue. Go about two miles to 28th Street and turn right. Go about one half mile to I-96 West to Grand Rapids. Then take I-196 to Downtown Grand Rapids. Take Exit 77C, Ottawa Avenue. Go three blocks to Pearl Street. Turn right. Go one and a half more blocks and the hotel will be on the corner of Pearl and Monroe.

From the West
I-94 to Exit 197 (Vining Road). Make a left at the stop sign. Next stop sign, make a right and follow Wick Road 1/2 mile and it is the first hotel on the right.

From the East
I-94 to Exit 198 (Merriman) North. Stay over to the left hand side. Just past first light, make a left. That will put you on the corner of Wickham and Merriman. Hotel is the last building on the left.

Detroit to Crowne Plaza
96 West to Exit 43B (28th St. East) 2 blocks down on the right.

Traverse City to Crowne Plaza
US-31 South to 31 East to 131 South to 96 East to Exit 43B (28th St. East)
2 blocks down on the right.

Muskegon to Crowne Plaza
96 East to Exit 43B (28th St. East) 2 blocks down on the right.

Benton Harbor to Crowne Plaza
196 North (becomes 196 East) to 96 East to Exit 43B (28th St. East)

Take I-75 to Bay City to U.S. 10 West. Then follow U.S. 10 45 miles to the first Clare exit. The Doherty Hotel is located 2 miles on the right of Business 10.

From I-94
Take Exit 198, Merriman Road North. Turn left at Wickham Road & follow to The Doubletree Hotel. The Doubletree Hotel is located directly across from Detroit Metropolitan airport and 18 miles from Downtown Detroit.

From Detroit Metropolitan Airport
Take I-94 eastbound to the Southfield Freeway northbound. Continue north to M-10 for 4 miles and M-10 will turn into Northwestern Hwy. You will see a large blue glass building on your left that reads "Wyatt." Turn left at the next intersection, which is Beck Rd, and hotel is the 2nd driveway on your left.

From Downtown Detroit
Take Lodge Freeway north, which turns into Northwestern Highway north. You will see a large blue glass building on your left that reads "Wyatt." Turn left at the next intersection, which is Beck Rd; hotel is 2nd driveway on your left.

From the West Side (Novi, Ann Arbor, Farmington)
Take I-696 east to exit #8 (Telegraph Rd). Stay in the lane of the exit ramp and take Telegraph south. Turn right at the first traffic light, which is Swanson. Go right on Swanson to Franklin Rd. Go right on Franklin and continue to Beck Rd and hotel is the first entrance on your right.

From the East Side (Royal Oak, Warren)
Take I-696 west to exit #10 (which is Northwestern Highway north). You will see a large blue glass building on your left that reads "Wyatt." Turn left at the next intersection, which is Beck Rd; hotel is the second driveway on your left.

The Grand Traverse Hotel is located six miles northeast of Traverse City
and approximately a half mile north of the intersection of M-72 and US-31.
The entrance drive is east off US-31.

Exit 198 off of I-94 (Merriman & Middlebelt Rd. exit). Upon reaching the end of the off ramp, you will see a "Total" Gas Station on the left side of the road. Just past that, intersecting Merriman Road, is Wickham Road. Turn left on Wickham, crossing over Merriman. You will see the Hilton Suites on the right.

The Holiday Inn North Campus is located at 3600 Plymouth Road, just off of US-23, exit 41. Only 25 minutes to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport and 45 minutes from downtown Detroit.

From Detroit Metropolitan Airport
Coming from the airport take I-94 West, exit at US-23 North. Follow US-23 North approximately 4 miles to exit 41. Turn left at the light. The Hotel will be in sight on the left.

Located at 6820 South Cedar Street in Lansing, Michigan. Immediately off I-96 at exit 104 (Holt/Cedar Street). 18 miles to Capitol City Airport via I-96.

From Points North (Mackinac Island and Traverse City) Take 27 South to I-69 East to 127 South to I-96 West (Grand Rapids Exit). Follow I-96 to Lansing Exit 104 (Cedar Street / Holt) and turn left at the light (Pennsylvania Ave.). Go through two lights (2 blocks) and at the 3rd light (South Cedar Street) turn left under the via duct. The Holiday Inn South will be on your right.

From point North-East (Flint, Saginaw, Bay City) Take 69 West to 127 South to 96 West (Grand Rapids). Follow I-96 to Lansing Exit 104 (Cedar Street / Holt) and turn left at the light (Pennsylvania Ave.). Go through two lights (2 blocks) and at the 3rd light (South Cedar Street) turn left under the via duct. The Holiday Inn South will be on your right.

From Points East (Detroit & Canada) Take I-96 West to Lansing Exit 104 (Cedar Street / Holt) and turn left at the light (Pennsylvania Ave.). Go through two lights (2 blocks) and at the 3rd light (South Cedar Street) turn left under the via duct. The Holiday Inn South will be on your right.

From points South (Cleveland, Toledo) Take U.S. 23 North to I-96. Go west to Lansing Exit 104 (Cedar Street / Holt) and turn left at the light (Pennsylvania Ave.). Go through two lights (2 blocks) and at the 3rd light (South Cedar Street) turn left under the via duct. The Holiday Inn South will be on your right.

From points South-West (Chicago, Kalamazoo & Battle Creek) Take I-94 East to 69 North. Follow 69 North to I-96 East to Lansing Exit 104 (Cedar Street / Holt) and turn left at the light (Pennsylvania Ave.). Go through two lights (2 blocks) and at the 3rd light (South Cedar Street) turn left under the via duct. The Holiday Inn South will be on your right.

From points west (Grand Rapids & Muskegon) Take I-96 East to Lansing Exit 104 (Cedar Street / Holt) and turn left at the light (Pennsylvania Ave.). Go through two lights (2 blocks) and at the 3rd light (South Cedar Street) turn left under the via duct. The Holiday Inn South will be on your right.

The Holiday Inn Lansing West is located right at I-96 Exit 93B. We are near I-96 and Rt. 496 interchanges. Located five miles from the Capital City Airport.

From 94-E
94-E to Trumbull (exit 214b). Turn left to W. Grand Blvd.
Turn right and hotel is located 4blocks down on the right.

From 94-W
94-W to Lodge (10) N. Exit W. Grand Blvd. Hotel is located 4 blocks down on the left.

From 75-S
75-S to Clay Ave to E. Grand Blvd (Exit 54). Turn right at the 2nd light.
Hotel is the first building on the right after Woodward Ave.

From 75-N
75-N to Lodge (10) N. to W. Grand Blvd. Turn right. Hotel is located

From 696 (East or West)
696 to 75-S to Exit 54. Follow above directions for 75-S.

From the North
Follow I-75 South to I-696 West to Southfield Road. Turn left. Take Southfield Road South to Southfield Freeway (M-39) to Michigan Avenue West. Follow Michigan Avenue Westbound to Evergreen Road. Turn right. Turn right into the Fairlane Town Center shopping mall. Continue turning right. The Hyatt Regency Dearborn is located across the street from the Sears at Fairlane Mall.

From the South
Follow I-75 North to Exit #41, and turn left onto Southfield Road. Take Southfield Road North to Southfield Freeway North to Exit #6 Michigan Avenue West. Follow Michigan Avenue Westbound to Evergreen Road. Turn right. Turn right into Fairlane Town Center shopping mall. Continue turning right. The Hyatt Regency Dearborn is located across the street from Sears at Fairlane Mall.

From the East
Follow I-94 West to Exit #210A Michigan Avenue. Take Michigan Avenue Westbound to Evergreen Road. Turn right. Turn right into the Fairlane Town Center shopping mall. Continue turning right. The Hyatt Regency Dearborn is located across the street from Sears at Fairlane Mall.

From the West
Follow I-94 East to Southfield Freeway (M-39) North to Exit #6 Michigan Avenue West. Follow Michigan Avenue Westbound to Evergreen Road. Turn right. Turn right into Fairlane Town Center shopping mall. Continue turning right. The Hyatt Regency Dearborn is located across the street from Sears at Fairlane Mall.

From the Northwest
Follow I-96 East to Southfield Freeway (M-39) South to Michigan Avenue West. Follow Michigan Avenue Westbound to Evergreen Road. Turn right. Turn right into Fairlane Town Center shopping mall. Continue turning right. The Hyatt Regency Dearborn is located across the street from Sears at Fairlane Mall.

From Detroit Metro Airport to Hyatt Regency Dearborn
Take I-94 East (signs indicate Detroit) to Southfield Freeway (M-39). Go North. Exit at Michigan Avenue West (Exit Number 6). Stay in the right lane and turn right onto Evergreen Road. Stay in right lane and turn right into Fairlane Town Center. (Large sign indicates this). Go to the stop sign and turn right. The Hyatt Regency Dearborn is located on the right side shortly after you turn.

From Hyatt Regency Dearborn to Detroit Metro Airport
Exit Hyatt Regency Dearborn driveway and turn right. Turn right on the first road immediately after exiting Hyatt. (There is a sign which indicates Southfield Freeway South & Michigan Avenue). At the stop sign, you must go right. Yield to traffic and get into your left-hand lane. This lane enters the freeway - Southfield Freeway South (M-39). Take Southfield Freeway South to I-94 West (signs will indicate Chicago). Take Metro Airport exit.

From Capitol City (Lansing) Airport
Turn right onto Grand River Avenue. Go west on Grand River to Waverly Road. Make a left onto Waverly Road. Go south on Waverly to eastbound I-496. Follow I-496 and exit at Trowbridge Road. Go east on Trowbridge Road to Harrison Road.

From Charlotte
Take I-69 to I-96 (Exit 98). Go east on I-96 to US-127. Head north on US-127 to the Trowbridge Road exit. Go east on Trowbridge to Harrison Road.

From Detroit
Take I-96 to US-127 (Exit 106). Go north on US-127 to the Trowbridge Road exit. Go east on Trowbridge to Harrison Road.

From Eaton Rapids
Take M-99 to I-96. Go east on I-96 to US-127. Go north on US-127 to the Trowbridge Road exit. Go east on Trowbridge to Harrison Road.

From Flint
Take I-69 to US-127 (Exit 89). Go south on US-127 to the Trowbridge Road exit. Head east on Trowbridge to Harrison Road.

From Grand Rapids
Take I-96 to I-496 (Exit 95). Go east on I-496 to the Trowbridge Road exit. Go east on Trowbrige to Harrison Road.

From Mason
Take US-127 to Trowbridge Road. Go north on US-127 to the Trowbridge Road exit. Head east on Trowbridge to Harrison Road.

From St. Johns
Take US-27 to US-127 to the Trowbridge Road exit. Go east on Trowbridge Road to Harrison Road.

From the South
I-75 N to US-2 W exit, exit number 344B, towards MANISTIQUE. Merge onto I-75 BL. I-75 BL becomes US-2. Turn RIGHT onto MI-77. Turn LEFT onto MI-28. MI-28 becomes FRONT STREET.

From the East
Start out going West on US-2 towards MI-94 by turning right. Turn RIGHT onto US-41. US-41 becomes FRONT ST. FRONT ST becomes M 28 BR.

From the West
Start out going East on M 26 towards US-41 by turning right. M 26 becomes US-41. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto M 28 BR E. M-28 becomes FRONT STREET.

From Lansing or Detroit:
Take I-96 W to Exit 43B (28th St East). Get over quickly to turn left. Turn left at the Meijer Gas Station. You will see our hotel to the left of the Meijer store.

From Chicago:
Take I 94 East to I-96 East to Exit 43B (28th St East). Get in the left lane, turn left at the Meijer Gas Station. You will see our hotel to the left of the Meijer store.

From Kalamazoo:
Take 131-N to 28th Street East, (a right turn at 28th Street). Go down about 10-12 miles, under I-96 overpass, get in the left lane and turn left at the Meijer Gas Station. You will see our hotel to the left of the Meijer store.

From the East (Flint)
I-69 to U.S. 127 South toward Lansing/Jackson (Exit 89A). Take 496 West toward Downtown Lansing. Take the Pine/Walnut Streets/Downtown exit (Exit 6). Get into one of the right-hand lanes and turn right onto Walnut Street. Go to the 2nd light and turn left on Lenawee Street, and then turn right into the first driveway. From the West (Grand Rapids)
From 96, take 496 East toward Downtown Lansing. Take the Pine/Walnut Streets/Downtown exit (Exit 6). Go to the second light and turn left on Walnut Street. Go to the third street and turn left on Lenawee Street. Turn right into the first driveway. The MACMHB office is a brick, two-story building on the corner.

From the North (Clare/Mt. Pleasant)
U.S. 127 South toward Lansing/Jackson. Take 496 West toward Downtown Lansing. Take the Pine/Walnut Streets/Downtown exit (Exit 6). Get into one of the right-hand lanes and turn right onto Walnut Street. Go to the second street and turn left on Lenawee Street. Turn right into the first driveway. From the South (Detroit/Jackson)
U.S. 127 North toward Lansing. Take 496 West toward Downtown Lansing. Take the Pine/Walnut Streets/Downtown exit (Exit 6). Get into one of the right hand lanes and turn right onto Walnut Street. From Grand Rapids
Take US-131 South to I-94 East, then follow directions from I-94 or Take M-37 South to Jackson Street. Left on Jackson to McCamly. Right on McCamly one block to Hambliin. Turn left on Hamblin. Hotel is directly on the left after parking ramp and Kellogg Arena.

Directions from I-94 (Kalamazoo or Jackson)
When traveling I-94, exit 98-B (downtown Battle Creek exit). Travel 3 1/2 miles to first light. Turn left at this light, which is Hamblin Avenue. travel Hamblin Avenue to next stop light (about two blocks). Hotel is 16-story building at intersection.

From Ann Arbor
23 North to 96 West. Exit at 110. Turn right on Okemos Rd (Applebee’s on SW corner). Turn left on Woodlake Dr.

From Clare/St. Johns
27 South to 127 South to 96 East. Exit at 110. Turn left on Okemos Rd (Applebee’s on SW corner) and left on Woodlake Dr.

From Muskegon/Grand Rapids
96 East to Exit 110. Turn left onto Okemos Rd (Applebee’s on SW corner) and left on Woodlake Dr.

From the West
Follow US-41/M-28 East into Marquette. Turn left onto Wright Street at the Phillips 66 gas station. Stay on Wright Street until you can see NMU on your right. Turn right onto Schaffer Ave for 2 blocks. Turn right on Center Street, which ends at Elizabeth Harden Circle Drive, turn left. Stay on this street, go straight through the 4-way stop, the University Center is the building you see on the right. Use the parking lot to the east of the building (parking lot 8).

From US-41
Follow US-41. Merge onto Business 41. Go north on Washington Street (where Business 41 merges). Hotel is 1/4 mile down Washington on the east side of the street.

From Detroit Metro Airport
I-94 West to Exit 177 (State Street). Turn right off exit onto State Street. Look for a red and blue Sheraton Inn sign on the right (about one block). Turn here and follow the service drive to our hotel (at the end on the right).

From Chicago
I-94 East to Ann Arbor. Exit at State Street #177. Turn left off exit going north on State Street. Look for a red and blue Sheraton Inn sign on the right (about one block). Turn here and follow the service drive to our hotel (at the end on the right).

From Toledo
Take U.S. 23 North to I-94 West. Exit at State Street #177. Turn right onto State Street going north. Look for a red and blue Sheraton Inn sign on the right (about one block). Turn here and follow the service drive to our hotel (at the end on the right).

From I-96 take I-496 to Creyts Road North exit. Go north on Creyts Road. Turn right at the light onto Anacapri Boulevard (first road). Pass the first drive and enter either of the next two drives to complimentary parking.

From the North
Take I-75 South to I-696 West; take Orchard Lake exit (#5); turn right (north) and go 500 ft. to 12 Mile; turn left (west) and go 1.4 miles to center, on the left.

From Northwest
Take US-23 South to I-96 East (which becomes I-696); take Orchard Lake exit and turn left (north); follow the rest of directions above.

From the East
Take I-696 West; take Orchard Lake exit (#5); turn right (north) and go 500 ft. to 12 Mile; turn left (west) and go 1.4 miles to center, on left.

From the West
Take I-96 East (which becomes I-696); take Orchard Lake exit (#5) and turn left (north); go 500 ft. to 12 Mile; turn (west) and go 1.4 miles to center, on the left.

From the East via I-94
Take I-94 West to US-23 North. Exit US-23 at Geddes, exit #39. Turn left (west) on Geddes. Continue on Geddes for approximately two miles. After one mile, the name changes to Fuller Road at the Huron Parkway intersection. Continue on Fuller Road for another two miles to the traffic signal at East Medical Center Drive. You will pass the Veterans Hospital and you will be able to see the Medical Center on a bluff to your left. At the traffic light at Fuller and E. Medical Center Drive, turn left (south) and proceed on to the Medical Center campus. Follow the signs to the Patient/Visitor Parking Deck or other destination.

From the East via M-14
From the Detroit area, take I-96 West toward Ann Arbor. At the I-275 interchange, stay to the left. The road becomes M-14. From the northern suburbs, take I-696 West to I-275 South. Take I-275 South to M-14 West, which is marked as the Ann Arbor exit. Take M-14 West to US-23 South. Exit US-23 at Geddes Road. This is exit 39. Turn right (west) on Geddes. Continue on Geddes for approximately two miles. After one mile, the name changes to Fuller at the Huron Parkway intersection. Continue on Fuller for another two miles to the traffic signal at East Medical Center Drive. From the West via I-94
Take I-94 east to the "Ann Arbor" exit (Exit 172). This merges into Jackson Rd (eastbound). Remain on Jackson, which becomes Huron, and continue for 2 1/2 miles through downtown. You will pass city Hall on your left. After the traffic light at State Street, the next light will be at Glen and Huron. Move into the left lane. Turn left at the Medical Center sign onto Zina Pitcher Place. Move into the right lane. After one block on Zina Pitcher Place, turn right at the traffic light onto East Ann. Go one block and bear right onto Observatory. Go approximately 1/2 block and turn left at the traffic light onto East Medical Center Drive. Follow signs to the Patient/Visitor Parking Deck or other destination.

From the West via I-96
Take I-96 East to US-23 South to M-14 West. Exit M-14 at the "Downtown Ann Arbor" exit (Exit 3). The exit ramp merges into North Main. Go approximately 3/4 mile on North Main. turn left on Depot (Watch for it closely) just BEFORE the traffic light at Summit. Remain on Depot for one mile, past the train station and up a hill where Depot becomes Fuller. Continue on Fuller to a traffic light at Glen and Fuller. Turn left onto Glen and move into the right lane. Go one block. Turn right at the traffic light at East Medical Center Drive and proceed onto the Medical Center campus. Follow the signs to the Patient/Visitor Parking Deck or other destination.

From the North via US-23
Take US-23 South to M-14 West. Exit M-14 at the "Downtown Ann Arbor" exit (Exit 3). The exit ramp merges into North Main. Go approximately 3/4 mile on North Main. Turn left on Depot (Watch for it closely) just BEFORE the traffic light at Summit. Remain on Depot for one mile, past the train station and up a hill where Depot becomes Fuller. Continue on Fuller to a traffic light at Glen and Fuller. Turn left onto Glen and move into the right lane. Go one block. Turn right at the traffic light at East Medical Center Drive and proceed onto the Medical Center Campus. Follow the signs to the Patient/Visitor Parking Deck or other destination.

From the South via US-23
Take US-23 North. Exit US-23 at Geddes, exit #39. Turn left, heading west, on Geddes. Continue on Geddes for approximately two miles. After one mile, the name changes to Fuller Road at the Huron Parkway intersection. Continue on Fuller Road for another two miles to the traffic signal at East Medical Center Drive. You will pass the Veterans Hospital and will be able to see the Medical Center on a bluff to your left. At the traffic light at Fuller and East Medical Center Drive, turn left (south) and proceed onto the Medical Center campus. Follow the signs to the Patient/Visitor Parking Deck or other destination.
