Case Management Program
Director
Jackson and Hillsdale Location
Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for overall
operation of HNSE case management in Jackson and Hillsdale counties, including,
but not limited, to clinical integrity, financial performance, and employee
performance management and accountability. This position participates as a
member of the HNSE Leadership Team to provide clinical expertise, insight and
vision for the company’s growth and future areas of product development in
southeast Michigan.
Specific Responsibilities—Essential
1. Leadership
a) Responsible for the financial performance of assigned programs, making
adjustments to meet financial goals in a timely manner.
b) Responsible to implement and oversee efficient workflow processes that are
consistent with agency protocol.
c) Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees
to foster and promote cooperative and harmonious working climates, which will be
conducive to maximum employee moral, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
d) Develops and oversees the ongoing clinical training of the team that will
promote professional growth and development and improve quality of services
provided.
e) Keeps immediate supervisor informed of all problems or events of
significance. Takes prompt corrective action where necessary, suggesting
alternative course of acton as appropriate.
f) Completes all reporting requirement in accordance with agency standards.
g) Represents the agency at various community events/activities. Serves as a
liaison with community agencies regarding HNSE clinical services
2. Interdisciplinary Team
a) Facilitate meetings with the clinical team weekly to coordinate services and

3. Administrative

consumers in crisis.
e) Participate through leadership in program development and evaluation.

date and accurate.
h) Conceptualize and orchestrate new program development

j) Market existing programs to gain name and quality recognition in the mental
health and community at large and present ideas for program expansion to address
gaps in services
k) Administer employee performance management requirements (discipline and/or
performance reviews) in accordance with agency protocol.
4. Clinical Responsibilities
a) Ensure person-centered planning services are completed in accordance with
funding agencies guidelines
b) Monitors psycho-social programming and makes recommendations for milieu
treatment, provides training and guidance for milieu treatment.
c) Provides oversight of Behavior Treatment Planning
d) Develop appropriate person centered behavior treatment program plans that use
the least restrictive interventions and procedures.
e) Present all appropriate programs to Behavior Management Committee and for all
follow-ups reporting as indicated by the committee.
f) Provide leadership in formulating individual and group education, training,
and psychotherapy where clinically indicated.
g) Train staff in the development implementation and documentation of behavior
programs.
h) Monitor data on all behavior programs on a monthly basis at both the home and
day program unless otherwise indicated by the team.
i) Revise and review each behavior program on a timely basis.
j) Provide prompt client assessment, within designated time criterion.
5. Clinical Responsibilities – Other
a) Provides on –going clinical supervision and training
b) Participates in group and individual meetings to develop and monitor team’s
adherence to regulatory standards.
c) Collaborates with physicians in screening and evaluating clients within scope
of practice.
d) Provide on call availability for consultation to on-call staff during
non-working hours
e) Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary to meet the needs of the agency
and persons served.
Position Requirements—Essential
1. Master’s Degree in Social Work with a LMSW license required
2. Three to five (3-5) years of proven managerial experience in the mental
health and/or human services field.
3. Knowledge and experience with therapeutic techniques appropriate to the
target population.
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively represent and articulate the mission of
the corporation by conveying HN principles of ethical business practices,
superior clinical quality, value of consumer-based choice and decisions, to
various audiences and a willingness to provide services to the most complicated
consumers.

Summary

Under immediate supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) provides peer support services; serves as an advocate to individuals we serve; provides information and peer support for individuals we serve in their homes and in the community as well as emergency, outpatient or inpatient settings. The CPS performs a wide range of tasks to assist individuals we serve in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. The CPS will role model competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Multisystemic Therapy Supervisor, performs professional therapeutic functions for children and adolescents in therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and disposition, that are consist with the principles and practices of MST for Child and Family Services; performs related work as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s in Social Work and Michigan Master’s Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical. Will consider a candidate with a Limited License as a Master’s Level Social Worker (LLMSW) credential AND one (1) year of clinical experience in the treatment of mental health/ antisocial behaviors in youth.
The employee with an LLMSW must take and pass the ASWB Examination within six (6) months of hire to retain employment. The employee with an LLMSW must also make application for the LMSW upon completion of 4000 hours in order to retain employment.
OR
Master's in Psychology and Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential. Will consider a candidate with a Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP) credential AND one (1) year of clinical experience in the treatment of mental health/ antisocial behaviors in youth.
The employee with a TLLP must make application for the LLP upon completion of 2000 hours in order to retain employment.
Effective 6/30/2010, all new Master’s level psychologists must take and pass the Examination for Professional Practice within six (6) months of hire to retain employment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavior therapies, and cognitive behavioral therapy and their applications.
Must retain DCH qualifications as a Child Mental Health Professional.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and holidays. Position will share on-call in rotation with the rest of the MST clinical team..
Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and use of a vehicle during working hours.
