General Summary:  Under the supervision of the compliance and monitoring administrator, the Medicaid verification manager is responsible for the implementation of Medicaid Services Claims Verification audits required by contract with the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) using agency identified tools/methodologies and established protocols related to service billing and CPT-4/ICD-9 coding.  Medicaid Services Claims Verification Audits are conducted in conjunction with managers of comprehensive provider networks, substance abuse coordinating agencies, direct contract service providers and contracted Wayne County Departments.
Qualified person should possess the following:
* A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
* At least 3 years of full-time paid mental health or human/social services experience, which must include monitoring to quality and regulatory compliance.  This experience must include statistical analysis, report generation, and the processing and billing of Medicaid Services Claims using CPT-4/ICD-9 coding.
Salary:  $46,005 to $70,153

General Summary:  Under the supervision of the director of MCPN Management, the managed care operations administrator is responsible for the overall coordination of the contract between the mental health agency and the assigned MCPN.  Duties include:  serving as the primary liaison between the agency and the MCPN, providers and persons served; providing leadership for a team of interdepartmental experts to assist, monitor and manage the MCPN relationship; coordinating MCPN quality review by agency staff; integrating MCPN accreditation process with agency requirements; developing a process for reviewing MCPN provider credentialing program; participating in the response to general public inquiries and problems; coordinating with agency grievance appeals function to track complaints against the MCPN and subcontracted providers; maintaining records of all interactions between the agency and the MCPN and submitting written reports on MCPN performance and progress to agency.
Qualified person should possess the following:
* Master's degree in social work, psychology, public administration, nursing administration or related field; AND
* 6 years post degree experience in managed care operations in a mental health program, including experience with provider relations, contracting, credentialing, quality assurance and/or compliance management, public administration; AND
* At least 3 years of managerial/administrative experience including the supervision of managers and professional staff.
Salary:  $67,865 to $103,214
