The Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards (MACMHB) is seeking
an Associate Director. MACMHB is the trade association representing county
community mental health services programs and publicly funded providers of
mental health and substance use disorder services. It is based in Lansing, MI.
The Associate Director responsibilities include legislative and public policy advocacy and issue analysis at the state and federal level, support of Association legislative, policy, and public relations committee work, and liaison to affiliate members. Experience with and an understanding of Michigan’s public mental health and substance use disorder systems and issues is preferred. The Associate Director will be registered as a lobbyist agent in compliance with the Michigan Campaign Finance Act.
